That's a nice collection you have there Georgie! And yeah, I don't believe you on the tranny. You were always doing burnouts when ever you could!!

He said he didn't abuse it. He never said he didn't use it as God intended, you "keep everything stock and boring" weanie... :D:D:D

:blah::blah: I was just stating facts. Even the best built mechanisms can reach a breaking point. You and I know how he likes to do burnouts so sooner or later the more he does, the better chance that something will go BOOM especially with that big Elephant that powers that trans! And yes, I am very happy with my, keep everything stock and running car!!!:poke:

No offence to everybody else on this forum, but George's roadrunner was always my favourite on this site!

That is one bad-ass machine.

Just saw all this, what a great culmination and variety of autos. Knew of a few, they were always trading and buying each other’s cars. Autos were all resto’ed, no wait for going to shows or anything else. May be the way to go, had one friend that never waxed finish, cleaned around chrome with tooth brush; tricks of the trade I guess, way much I have no idea about with this pastime.

It's good to have buddies that can pitch in. Way too expensive of a hobby otherwise...

Steve remembers this photo in his rear view mirror
George, my memory ain't what it used to be, but my guess would be that was at Carlisle? You had just said that you weren't going to do a burnout because the tires were getting too worn out. Then I saw the white out behind me!! I do remember riding into the cruise-in down there and when you opened up the dumps. I couldn't hear a damn thing other over the engine and just about every head in the place turned to see what all the racket was!!!

Told the mrs Roadrunner first, then house. If we buy a house, Im never gonna get the car. Luckily for me, she agreed with my logic.
