Can't say about Skidz, but ACME may be resting up from that trip and getting ready for a new blitz on some one, or some thing!

:lmao:

ACME has indeed been resting up from the trip to Germany...because he is loading up the kids and the German Shepherds tomorrow for an eleven hour road trip to my mother's house for Easter... Gotta remember to pack that bottle of Jack Daniels...not for the actual trip but for the wind-down afterwards...

No blitzes planned for anyone...but I'm always willing to seize whatever opportunity presents itself... :D

I actually have just been very busy - you guys know how it is. Things go in spurts... Lots of things to follow-up on at work after being out for over a week...things to get ready for the Easter Road Trip...but I did manage to get Bambi out for a shake-down run with her new wheels & tires yesterday evening... Got quite a surprise when I jumped in her and she would not fire however. A quick check at the coil revealed no spark...and a little bit more hunting led to a failed ECU. Grabbed a new Orange Box off of the shelf (sometimes it really pays off to be a pack rat...), pinned the hood back on, and went out and made some tire smoke... :drive: Damn, I love this hobby...!!! :D

Oops my bad. I'll fix it and make the rest of the tread look strange. I hope Mystic has a good sence of humor :D

Yeah, yeah, I know. I took some yesterday. But the camera belongs to the Domestic Supervisor and she handles all of the downloads...and her focus is on our road trip tomorrow...so I'll have to request an extension on the normal time allocation for photo uploads... :nopity:

Well after some help on the light bucket thread, I dipped them in muriatic acid and replated them in my handy dandy Eastwoods zinc kit. Here is a before, stripped and zinc plate and one in the grill.

Ive used it to redo screws and other fasteners, Ive tried to keep as many original fasteners as possible. With the headlight buckets I had to get a larger plastic bucket to dip them in!

Looks good!

I spent days refinishing original hardware in the engine bay alone. The aftermarket kits are great, but never include the stuff you need the most... or the new stuff just doesn't fit like the old. I bought a kit for the interior and only used about half of it. :loco:
