Re: And so it Begins....

Well, the frame's pulled finally. It wasnt that much out of whack I guess, only about an 1/8" or so. According to the shop, it may have even been in spec to begin with. But, at least I know now. No sense in hanging very exspensive new metal only to have alignment issues. The car's back in my garage now, and wont get wrenched on again for awhile.

One more thing out of the way though.

Well, back from the dead I suppose.............

Nothing new yet to report. I am about $900 lighter though. I went down to the Classics on Saturday and picked up a full passenger quarter and deck lid filler panel. Next on my list will be a new back window. That's down the road though...... Way down.........

hey Steve, you looking for a "New" glass, or a "new to the car better than the one I have now" glass. The yard I got my shock support from had a back glass, $25 you take it out. Been a couple years though, haven't had any play$. but that's changing.... :D

Well, it depends on how clean it is. Little scratches I can deal with, especially if its on the edges.

Re: And so it Begins.... (Updated pg.14)

Time to get going here....... I decided to go with the collision shop for the the body work. Hopefully I made the right decision. The nice thing is the shop is doing this as an actual job, and not fill in work. I should have it back by the end of March, if everything goes ok. I have all the metal, I think, so there shouldnt be any hold ups for that. They're replacing the full right quarter, 1/2 left side quarter, dutchman panel, trunk gutters on right side, both tail light buckets, the tail light panel itself, and putting in the trunk floor. Most of the metal is AMD stuff. The trunk floor I bought from Year One back in 2007 i believe. Sad to say in looking at the trunk floor it's already got rust from sitting around. Wonderful. I plan on POR-15'ing the heck out of it when it comes home, so hopefully that will take care of that issue. I'm obviously not going for a 100% correct restoration here, or anything close really. From the very beginning, this car was bought and is being built as a driver in mind.

Here's a couple of quick pics then.
