The Ferrari at the top of Caste Monte outside of Cividale. White knuckles the whole way up, thought for sure I was not going to make it, but the guy knew every turn and how to handle this car. View attachment 29162
The interesting part about that ride is that going down Gino told me is far more dangerous. Not because of the speed or how the car handles, but the brakes. The car is bone stock and the brakes are really small. They heat up and become useless. So you use the gears to slow you down and only brake when necessary lightly tapping.

A 30 thou. old roadrunner is fine for me. After all it is just a car. 3 mill or not and all those other expensive sport's car don't make my day. My uncle had a Porsche and if we put two people in the back seat it would not get out of its own way. I bet I can put four people in this runner and it will still do 120. Go American muscle.

At least he drives it! Had a guy come up to me once, offered me the keys in his 1960-something Porsche sometjin-or-other for a drive of my Roadrunner.
I said no way man. But I took him for a drive, and banged through some gears. Im not sure what he thought, but asking someone (like me anyway) to drive their roadrunner is like asking them for their wife.
Probably worse.

Happy you finally sold your car to a real buyer, hope your next car brings you more happiness!

So what are you looking for. A totally over hauled runner. I mean from top to bottom restoration. What year. Here it goes what color. I will keep my eyes open when surfing around. Too bad you did not get in on one that was in the auction. But did not see a car that color lemon yellow. Russ. :thumbsup2:

I did my search last night. When taking a brake I get on here for a few minutes. I hurt all over today got a flue shot a couple of day's ago and have felt off a bit. Moved my trunk lid out of the paint booth and finished cleaning my lower grill part and got it sprayed with rust proofing to day. Going back out and spray feather filler on the trunk lid top in a few minutes.

If you click on the runner posted for sale the blue one in the forum and look on down to the bottom you will see it on the Ebay page. It is a 70 runner hardtop. It is northern car but look's pretty sound. Russ.
