So the guy damages your car, won't pay for repair, then disses your car by making up stuff that isn't wrong? Wow, at a minimum I'd do a write up to the Better Business Bureau so its out there to the general public. Maybe small claims court, but it's really your word against his that the chip was there or not there when he arrived. What a jerk.
Good idea BBB it is

Well they did respond

Well they did respond to the first email.
I already did the Better Business Bureau post
Yah, I meant respond to the complaint itself. Let's face it, they damaged your car, and because of their false report, cost you the sale. Had that report not be negative, and full of false information, you would have sold that car. I really doubt you'll hear back a 2nd time from them addressing the problem. You've got them backed into a corner and the Inspector is going to lie.

Exactly, yeah I don’t expect to get anything out of it.
just letting the company know is enough for me .
When I’m finished with the touch up you will never be able to see it. After I fill it a few times I will wet sand it and polish if need to.

:wtf: How can someone get away with that. You can see that is a fresh chip. But now that you touched it up makes thing's problematic. This sounds like my kind of luck. Yes better business bureau would put in a complaint.

But you should not even have to go their. Think they should have to pay to repaint the hole darn car the color you want. Hope they will stand by their reply and make some kind of reparation to you.

89FD651A-735F-485B-A942-69C8BD2E2400.png Now don’t go busting my balls that $200 isn’t going to fix that because I’m already in the process of fixing it myself I’m going to buy the dust trail stripe for my car it’s $189 with that $200
There’s no way I would have that car painted and clear the whole fender because I know how it would look it would look better touched up with a brush rather than painting that fender been there done!!
I can’t believe I’m getting anything he sending me a draft tomorrow of a legal agreement I am shocked with their professionalism

Well let me know how it turns out John. Still think they should fix it the rite way. You say that you have done that. What have a fender painted. I know how hard it is to match paint. Well glad your getting something. I did not like the fact that they say you can't prove the fact it was not done until their guy dropped his glasses. Well have a good one buddy. Russ.

Don't know if this is a fair settlement or not, probably not. But at least the Inspector was a stand up guy and didn't lie about it. Glad it worked out, sorta.

I hear yeah but there’s no way I was painting that fender like I said and I doubt I would get anything more than what I got I’m shocked I got what I got

Well he wants it I mean unfortunately the car is going out of the country
oh well, but its out of your garage. At least this way you won't be tempted to try and buy it back. Never really understood why Euro's want these things anyway. You can't really drive them over there and gasoline is about a million dollars per liter. I'm in Italy all the time, they won't fit on most of the roads! Not to mention finding someone to work on it and heaven forbid if you need a part.
