just maybe. one of those "friend of a friend kinda deals" a buddy just had his '71 runner done over the winter. pretty solid car, but needed a little work here and there. his friend is on disability, so he;s always looking for some spare $$. did a really nice job on the metal work and paint on the '71. he can hang my new 1/4 skins, and shoot the car for under a grand. not a lot usually, but with the economy, layoffs all over, looks like a good deal. And I don't want to spend a lot on paint when I drive it most of the summer. just don't want it "too nice to drive". Besides, I couldn't handled all the ulcers Bob has gotten over his body shop horror tail.

Holy Crap - you'd better ink that deal now! I spent twice that just on paint & materials when I got the 'bu painted...and we won't even think about talking about labor costs...

I plan on it. but remember, this isn't a high dollar paint job going on a high dollar car.

Just one more salvo in the ongoing "war" between the B5 Club and the the Coronet Station Wagon Green Lovers Society... :lmao:

Dave, you can cover up some of the tailgate by installing one of those "swing-out" spare tires...

Bob, I think we're winning...

Wait a minute now! I'm in that green group too, but with mine being F5 and with all the talk about just F8, I'm feeling left out! Can't we all just get along! :jester:
