If you are rewiring dash, take advantage and change wire going to ammeter. The original runs almost all power to car thru this thing and has a tendency to corrode and catch fire.. switch to a voltmeter.

So happy the former owner runs out of pur foam. Car is in the spit and ready for blasting of the bothem

I bought a 68 imperial that when I started working on what I thought was going to be easy .I found lots of that thru the whole car so I drove it for a few years and then parted it out

I think i have all the pur removed from the car
This roadrumner was shipped to the netherlands in 1994
It was a california car (licens plates are still in the car) the pur party was a dutch one anyway sand blasting next weekend keep you guys posted

Boy your into it now. Like the car lift. Uther than all that is the rest of the car pretty sound. Some times cant see every thing till you pull all the paint off. Just to think maybe he was trying to seal the drop down area where trash would not get down their. Know if you drop something in to that area it is hard to get it out.

The body looks great! I see the pinion snubber reinforcement plate in that last pic. Finding the broadcast sheet was a real plus!

Blasting of the other parts inhave some bad experiences in the past
Strecing metal and ending up with
A lot of work and a medium result

Respray of the front suspension here getting seymore paint in a can means amazon 3 weeks of patience and dubbel up for the price but i like the result

It takes that long to get paint oh bummer. Look's good. So it look's like you going with red. After painting the skeleton will start on the K member. Keep up the good work and keep the pic's coming. Russ.
