Rally Gauges on a 68 Roadrunner

I'm fixing to c/o a dash cluster that is a original non factory tack dash,..and replacing it with a original restored dash cluster with the factory tack.They make a tack harness for this application,.I checked the source about ordering on and the 1st thing they asked is ,does your dash have really Gauges ..... I have never heard of a 68 roadrunner with rally Gauges.........DID THEY COME IN SOME RUNNERS ????

nope....Super Bees got'm...but runner's did not until 1970.

It goes where the clock would go. I have considered putting one in my 69 runner. Then need a plug to cover the time adjustment stem hole. Classic sells them. NON Rally dash.

Thanks Russ for the info. I'm about to change out my whole dash cluster, just bought an original restored cluster with factory tack.I really like the way the tack dashes look !!!! Thanks Again..

That is grate. Wanted to send off my odometer but they are pretty high on the price. Think I will look into it my self to see how bad it looks inside. Other than the face lens and numbers on the dial that look good but the bezel is rough. Like most. Think of trying the spray on chrome that is out their. No not in a can. It is silver. You can get a kit to do this. Just like the chrome shift handle going to try it on their as well. Good luck and have fun. Russ.

I have the tach but its a year one repo I bought in the 90s I has a factory tach that I bought a harness for through Year One but I couldn't get it to work. The Rallye dash wasn't available until 70 in the B body Plymouths . However something I always thought was unusual was I had a friend that had a 70 Coronet R/T and it had the rectangular non Rallye dash ! Not sure why Dodge went backwards ? Maybe as a cost cutting thing ?

could be whatever dash frame they had. they are different for the different dashes.

FYI: Rally dash was standard on 68-70 Charger/Superbee, and 70 Road Runner/GTX. It was optional on 68-70 Coronet RT. Tach was optional regardless of model/dash choice. Hope I got that right....
