Dash lights and Dome.

My dashlights and dome light haven't worked since I bought the car about 3 years ago.

In December I installed a new dash wiring harness. Didn't change anything. So this evening after work I started checking it. Found the dome light bulb was blown and replaced it with a new one that will not go off. I checked the fuses and the top one 3amp there is no power. I checked with headlights on and ign switch on. Nothing no power.

So I'm guessing the dash dimmer switch is the root of the problem?

I got the dome light working. I guess the dimmer switch is the dash issue.

Might check the thumb dial switch. Dash lights come off it.

Thanks! Can I take it out from the back side of the console?

Yes, but not real easily. Almost easier to pull whole panel and then take out switch to clean corrosion
