May have been the last hole that the line worker drilled before the supervisor saw it. I can see the guy's face who goes to install the clutch switch wire and sees the hole in the wrong spot. Who knows, maybe they were used to see modifications and was no big surprise.

No, it is a very well documented 4 speed. I have the build sheet and all the numbers match (except engine block).

Looks like I may have the only '70 RR with the clutch switch wire hole between clutch boot and speedo grommet. Every one elses is above the speedo grommet. Does that make mine more valuable?

It's no longer any good, it has a hole in it. lol

The only thing on my 69 is the revers switch light. Don't know if you guys are looking at the same thing. Being it is a four-speed car.

'69s don't have the clutch safety switch like the 70s and therefore wouldn't have this hole. Be lucky you don't have that. It is a PITA and $$ to rebuild.
