I grew up with my Mopar addicted dad, that ironically enough worked for General Motors for 30 years. Growing up, I heard story after story about his GTX from high school, and all the badass Mopars in his neighborhood at that time. My father's GTX was stolen out of his front yard when he was a...
I mentioned this when Tom first bought the car. Look at the mounting position for each bracket, and notice the discoloration from where the original bracket was? That makes me think the original horn broke and all they could find was a dual horn from a pick-up or something.
The rear wheel wells have been undercoated, then painted. My body/paint guy said I will want to undercoat it again in black a few years down the road, as the color will chip off as I drive it.
I have the splash shields and rubber from the last go around. They are black. Is that correct?
How...
My vert is home! I spent a couple hours just staring at it in my cold garage.
The doors rubbed a little during transport. They were zip tied and bungy corded. I can't believe I didn't put a towel between each door.
I'll have to have a little touch up work done after it's all...
I am considering using one for my vert. My 8 3/4 hasnt moved in 32 years, has a 3.23 gear, and it is painted in por15. It also has 114, 000 miles on it. It would work, but I think I like that S60 too much to say no, and it is priced fairly.
I saw an ad in Mopar Muscle, went to their website, did a little online research.
It looks like a nice product. Anyone running one? I'd like to hear some good....bad??
Alex
I saw this RR resto-mod online today. It's listed at $40k.

Remember that a guy in Florida pretty much built the same car for something like $80k. They pretty much slapped a 69RR on a salvaged Charger RT...
I would go with full AMD quarters.
There are a few guys on Moparts.com that are AMD dealers and offer discounts on their products.
I personally bought most of my metal from a company on ebay called "A Deals". Call them and talk to them, don't buy it online.
They usually will cut you a break...
Welcome Flo!
I love the pic of the garage. Looks like it could be anywhere here in the USA.
I've owned my RR for over 31 years....and I'm only 33! :lmao:
All this talk about Germany and beer made dig out my favorite glass, and fill it with my favorite ale...Fat Tire.
I borrowed this glass...
That's awesome! My brother Tom, 1969X9 on here, has his car on their list. They are estimating a December drop-off date for him. He has two Mustangs and two trucks in-line right now.
Let me know when you're here and we'll meet up. I live about 20 mins from the cruise. Mike (DrMopar) and his...
I am very happy with it! Can't wait to bring her home and start putting it back together.
I dropped my steering wheel and column off for restoration Sunday too.
Things are coming together...
Thanks fellas. This is exactly the info I'm looking for...
