My vert is home! I spent a couple hours just staring at it in my cold garage.
The doors rubbed a little during transport. They were zip tied and bungy corded. I can't believe I didn't put a towel between each door.

I'll have to have a little touch up work done after it's all done. I'm sure more will get banged up during reassembly.

Time to start putting her back together. Now if I can just figure out where to start....

Nice  First there are some splash shields that need to go on the front fenderwell or mask the areas and under coat the front and rear wheel wells, then weather strip doors and deck lid so you don't beat them up. If you want a factory looking under coat go to Resto Rick it ain't cheap. Oh and the rubber bumpers for the hood.

The rear wheel wells have been undercoated, then painted. My body/paint guy said I will want to undercoat it again in black a few years down the road, as the color will chip off as I drive it.
I have the splash shields and rubber from the last go around. They are black. Is that correct?

How difficult of a job is it to install that weatherstripping? I have a complete kit ready to go. I'm hesitant to do it on my own, as I've read it is a 2-3 man job keeping everything stretched.

The doors are easy you should have instructions with that. just push the vinyl retainers into the door holes, I think a little glue at the ends if I remember and screws a cap piece at the door jam but that can wait for the glass. The deck lid I did my self but 4 hands would be better. Get your black 3M weather strip adhesive and lay a bead along the body and also the weather strip, let them tack up and put it together as if were contact cement. Using this method you shouldn't need cloths pins on the corners. Do not stretch the rubber as you put it down. If you want the factory look they usually started and stopped the strip about 5 inches to the right of the trunk latch, but that varied with the workers on the line.
