    Getting ready for Carlisle

This is copied from Moparts and written by Ed Bruzinski, (not sure of spelling) who is the Carlisle's Chrysler show coordinator. He posted this on 5-8-20. Perhaps I should make a standalone Carlisle post on here, but for now, I'll address this one. Below is a copy and paste of what I posted...

    Getting ready for Carlisle

Looks good Harold. I talked to someone who I know has contacts with Carlisle and he told me that Carlisle is a GO! We will see. I hope so. My Bird is anxious to go down again but will be going down on the trailer.

    Registering a '69 in California

Same in Ct which is at 6.35%. But on the classic cars CT bases it on one of the car value books, not sure which one they use. When I registered one of my cars I paid 12k for it but the seller wrote 6k on the bill of sale. They did charge me that when I registered it but a few weeks later I...

    Removal of Radio Electrical ?

Don't believe the rumors! It doesn't make a difference. Just be sure to eliminate any bare connections when you disconnect the radio do they don't short out on anything under the dash.

    Water Problem

I feel your pain. I came home from a 600 mile 13 hr day to find I had two leaks in different spots in the same drain line in my basement. Got one spot fixed, but the other place is because my septic tank is ready to be cleaned out. Got the access to that dug out today, luckily it's easy to do.

    1970 different rear leaf springs

Yeah, that happened to my first Road Runner back in '72. The PO fixed it my bolting the broken shock mount to the trunk floor. It tore it all to hell.

    Engine Wiring Harness...

It's not the fault of the OEM style harness. It appears that you are using the '70 and later system so of course the OEM harness for a '69 will not work since it came with points. Also, the connectors you show in the top pic don't look like anything I've seen on my car or any other '69 RR I've...
