Say Big Mo. Did the blank where the tach goes hard to get out. Did you have to pull the front plastic to get to it or can it come out the back. It looks grate too. You could go into business doing them. LOL. Have a good one. Russ.

Russ it should come out the back. I have the dash mounted on a stand that Big John suggested to do a few years back. It was easy to get to the back.

Well I pulled the cluster out while the dash was in the car. Assume that the reverse will work also. Except I do have an AC box in the car now but should not be in the way. Will see.

Good luck. I am getting ready to put my dash in Monday. I put the grill assembly in today but will take it out so it does not get damaged when I put the engine in. I cannot get another one. I need the dash in then I can work on wiring.

After the dash is wired. Put the dash in on the two lower bolts let it swing down on a support of some kind and wire away. Then swing it up into place and put the top bolts in.

Hi 69hemibeep Big Mo here. After you wire the dash before swinging up into place did you power up the dash what you can to check any of the wire circuits. I have checked the harnesses as I put them in and they all work. I now know that part of the circuit is ok.

I did after the all the lights and accessories were in and the column loosely fitted plugged in and before the windshield went in. Worse case I would have to drop the column and dash again but I was able to test everything.
