I wouldn't worry. Cars prices vary widely due to a bunch of different things. But if you put similar 70 Roadrunner next to a similar 69, I think the 69 will go for more.
I am seeing more and more that people are sick of dealing with all the online idiots and prefer to sell their car to a buyer from a show or swap meet and they are willing to take a little bit of a hit to accomplish that. 22K is a good price, I would need to see pics of it before I can be held...
Thats what some people are doing. The California government will give you a dollar a square foot to rip out your grass and replace with something else, either gravel or fake plastic grass (yes it looks as bad as it sounds). Of course there is a whole department of near six figure income folks...
I think its cool! I do agree cowl hoods on todays builds is plain stupid. But back then you did what you had to do. I mean side pipes? You'd get shot. Stoner mags? Laughing stock, well at least the stamped steel ones. Jacked up stance? The purists would burn a cross in your front yard. But back...
I thought 68s had the serial part of the VIN on them as well as the SO. The SO was on the radiator support and trunk lip. Thats how you match the car with the VIN. I had a 68 Hemi Charger and thats how I figured out if the VIN belonged to the car. Oh and just a side note a repproduction fender...
