You never know what things or persons you will find at a car show, I met the man I received the car from. I got lucky and ended up with my 69's owners manual and inside was the original owners information, with the cars delivery date to the dealership in Houston, Texas. The date being 7-14-69, is probably the purchase date, or do yall think that typed delivery date is the date it arrived from factory to the dealership, that seems too late for a 69 delivery, its almost 1970. Unless that is the delivery date for a special order? What do yall with documents think.

Mine also came with the original owners manual still in the plastic protective folder. Looks like new. Also have the original bill of sale.

As for the date on your document, it say "Delivery" date. Hard to argue with that.

AZ Desert,
They also had left over cars on the lot that sold well into the new model year. Prime example was the 69 Barracuda when the 70 was introduced they sat around forever. A dealer near me had 9 1969 340 Cuda's with deep discounts and I had no money, still working at a grocery store after school.
