Not sure what you are dealing with, but my '69 Road Runner (383) has the oem 22" radiator still in it. I purchased my shroud (and mounting brackets) from Mega Parts. It fir perfectly.
I replaced my OEM 37 amp alternator a few years back with a round back 55 amp. Minimal head lamp dimming at idle. It was an improvement over the OEM 37 amp.
For what it's worth.
I replaced my alternator a few years ago with a Napa unit. It lasted 1 month.
The replacement they pulled from stock had a big nick in the pulley. Looked as if it had been dropped.
I got a refund and went elseware.
Russ, I replaced my carpets a couple of years ago, but CRS prevents me from remembering much about it. I think I did use carpet glue on the side covers. I think I cut the bottom edge long and wrapped it around and then glued it from behind, if I remember correctly.
