Runner has 70 series flow masters but are mellow. On a different car I have hooker aero chambers and they have a good idle with rumble and then when you get on it they get loud!
Update, got a chance to work on it for about an hour today. Got the turbo moved over a little and helped it line up with the intake. Installed a new turbo hose. Seemed to help it out. Verified time was correct and that the advance was work in the distributor and it was. Then ran out of gas! So...
Found the issue with the throttle not returning all the way. The new boot for the throttle linkage to the fire wall was binding it up. Ran it with the vacuum gauge and looks like we have a leak? Any tricks to install new rubber hose on a turbo? Hose will be new and acts like it doesn't want to...

Took the Runner out to one of the local car meets and on the way did a lane change and it got quite eratic! I believe part of it was the road but it should of been much easier to control. Front suspension is stock with sway bar that has Polly end links. Manual steering box, also have 70's a body...
