Hello All,
Not sure if I ever did an introduction a long time ago. I recently acquired a '70 Plymouth Superbird. I've owned a Road Runner before, a B5 69 383 column auto with white bench seat interior. It was a super car actually. Over the last 30 years, I've had my fair share of Mopars, usually trading for this and that after putting a little effort into the previous car. My passion has always been with the B-bodies and more specifically with 2nd generation Chargers. Through a series of trades and purchases, I currently own a '69 V2 Dodge Charger Daytona ( 440 car with a 426 Hemi in it now ) and a '70 FY1 Plymouth Superbird, 440 4speed. Being an aero sort of fella, I believe all roads of my Mopar-past have led to this pair.
I will soon begin the process of getting the Superbird on the road with initial mechanical restoration and sheetmetal repair then complete drivetrain. WIth that, I'll probably drive it a while as my "Joe-Dirt" Superbird until I have all the financial resources to paint the complete car.....
Cheers,
Troy
