Collapsible plastic pins in the two-piece shafts may be broken. The shaft leading to the steering box should slide in and out of the upper shaft to the steering wheel. It may be stiff from being pushed up into the other part of that assembly.
I am not a purest for say. I have use stainless steel bolts in some places in steed of plain metal. LOL. Put stainless steel trim on my door panes just because I wanted to break up all the black and give it something else. :lol: After thinking about the paint TCP paint from out in CA.

No worries just use the heat gun and keep moving it so not to burn the fabric. Did you do it all by yourself like I did what a job for sure. My wrinkles where more where the sail panels are. Looks good. :thumbsup2:
It is not a gloss finish. Should be satin. For paint one sell what you need. Or the one I ordered from In California. Just can't remember the name rite now will have to hunt up the can.
I don't know guy's not for the faint of heart. It is going to need everything so its look's. What do you all think it will take to bring this one back to life. :kartman:
