Tach issue

I have a 69 Hemi Roadrunner, the factory tach I believe is off. It has 3.54 gear, tach reads 4800 at 65mph sound like it’s about 3000 rpm. Is there something known to cause this type issue.

You are right it is off. Mine reads around 3k at 65 with the same gears and F70/15 tires. As far as recalibrating it I don't know.

Mine feels like sounds like a little over 3000 at 65, tach shows over 5000 at 65.

May have to take it out and send it off to have it worked on. Or buy and replacement. Had my dash cluster done in Tallahassee Fla. But those guys are not around anymore that I know of. Google search may show someone that can restore your tach. Wish you luck.
