I could NEVER take my classic's out for a drive in the winter
The salt would eat a hole through them
Enjoy, to those of you who can

Yeah, I jut got back from a 3 day trip to Caribou, Maine where the high was -9, at noon time yesterday. But the whole time in Maine all the roads were white, and not from snow, it was from all the salt they use up there.

one of the world's larger salt mines in right under Cleveland, Ohio.......I swear they use it just to try and get rid of it, smells like salt air at the ocean 24/7, it's called the rust belt for a reason :livid:

My company car... Vlad the Impala. This is what winter salt looks like to you guys that don't experience it.

That's such a cool yet sad picture, I wonder what happened to them... My dream car is a apline white superbird or a lemon twist superbird. Ill for sure have one of those in my garage before I die.

I just took some of my ragtop in the snow a week ago, I switched out my crusty magnums for a set of polished torque-thrust I got reasonable on craigslist

used to not be a big fan of them but they have grown on me recently, I like the sandblasted look on early to mid sixties cars and the polished ones on late sixties cars anyhow the magnums are nice but they have been on the car since the early eighties and it's time for something different.

Gorgeous lines on those convertibles. The pin stripes really bring out the subtle curves too. Beautiful contrast with the snow. The only thing that I don't like are the blue license plates.

Green IS the Best color......
I'd like to be house bound more often..this 21 turn has really gotten old, especially this time of year. This helps keep me from going nuts in the cold gray Ohio winters....

Nice looking train set, I made a small combo train/slotcar set for my son a few years ago, the only time we mess with it is in the dead of winter, perhaps I'll try and get some pics of it up. I've also used those skills to build him a star wars play area and we are now this winter working on a star wars lego diorama that has a ways to go yet. First shift, I end up with family projects instead of road runner projects when I'm on second, but it's all good.
