Just bought a 1969 Road Runner 383 4 speed post car. Am in the process of restoring it. First thing is Vintage Air since I live in Surprise Ariozona. Car is pretty sound (no rust), but needs some help in several areas. Right now I am looking for a steering wheel replacement. I want one as much like this one but want to be able to keep the horn button with the Road Runner Emblem in tact. I have found one, but they want almost $800.00 for it which I think is a bit pricey. Anyone found a Grant or other maker that makes a steering wheel that can be modified to accept the stock Road Runner Horn button? Would really appreciate some help here. Thanks.

I'll watch for you at the local shows. I'm usually at south west corner of 67th Ave and Bell rd Saturday evenings in either the Road runner or a brown Valiant or a black AMX. Show is kinda small in the heat right now but I go.

West valley cruisers are out your way, they do a show at Sam's Club at Bell and the 303 when the weather cools.

Welcome to the site. Outstanding looking runner. Hope you can find the steering wheel you're looking for. Mine was all cracked up. Wanted the half ring horn trident steering wheel and found one for sale here or the other site. Might try looking into E bay also. Got my four-speed trans. off there.

If you have the time,that wheel can be restored to new. We live in Red Deer Alberta Canada. There is a guy in Edmonton that will make it like new. Google Steering Wheel Guy. He will fix you up. Last one I did was about 500.00 CDN

Not cheap but less than $800 or as Hemified said you can yours restored or even do it yourself.
