Mine had the clear plug no clock or tach at that point. Just the blank off. If it has a shoulder It is ever so slight. Let me look at mine again. Working on the dash rite now.

What
It is good for the hobby that Mike and his family were able to purchase the Charger Specialties business. It is a good fit for them and their current businesses and pieces will be actually assembled here in Georgia.

The hole gets a clear plug when the tach is used
After reading this I had to go back and double check. Mine DOES have a clear plug (no clock or tach). Well, at least it used to be clear. It is somewhat aged and yellowed now.

Mine is flush on the out side. But dose seem to raised on the inside. Even after having mine restored it still is a little discolored. Or should I say dark.

It goes in from the rear?
That makes sense.
So it is flush with the face you see.

Gotta love Vans.
Thanks I always like buying there.
They had the correct tank for a car I built.
In stainless no less.
