We are directly involved with providing the Top Catwhiskers. These window felts are the closest that you will find to NOS/OEM felts. Unlike the cheaper varieties with a hard rubber squeegee lip, ours feature the correct materials with the correct attaching clips already installed. For the inner quarter glass felts you can use the provided staples or use small screws, rivets or adhesive. If any questions, drop me a message.
I assume that from the picture, that this is a 68-70 Plymouth B-Body hardtop.
Agree with what has been said. Got a set for my post car and they where too long. So their is a difference in the length on the post and non post car. As well their is a plug at the end on non post car at the end of the door where lock is.
Not worries,I’m a seniority guy! Worked my whole life under it. I’m the new guy here...it’s all good!
Anyway back to the window sill whiskers...mine are in need of replacement. I have the pop out quarters and the current sills don’t seem to go all the way to the door opening...or is that normal?
@droptop, at the current time, I have decided to skip the show. As much as we would like to attend, I am still hesitant with an indoor venue with Covid. To my understanding, attendance is limited to 2000 people. Hope to see everyone at Carlisle!!
@woodwiz, the two door sedan / post car felts are entirely different than the the two door hardtop felts. The sedan felts had a cloth/fiber inner and the flocked rubber outer with a black bead. Your picture shows a bright bead which is more commonly found with the hardtop applications. Otherwise, same length and clip placement. Both the hardtop and sedan applications use the rubber door end plug to finish out the outer felt area at the end of the door jamb. Convertibles did not use this plug.
