Howdy. I have a 1974 with a 440. keep roasting plug wires. Some due to movement, but some due to heat from the headers. Have insulated boots, but can anyone recommend a good heat resistant plug wire?

Might need to get a plug wire heat shield to run them in. Or try to see if they have a fiber glass sock to go over them. Try summit racing or Jegs.

Yes and they did not have this kind of stuff back in the day. Our 440 with headers was really bad about the back plug wire's being over heated. :thumbsup2:
