It appears the front area where the pin is located is different on the 69 than the 68, take a close look at the pic. Of the orange 69 and the blue 68 it looks like a different piece of metal was used between the two that the pin mounts to.


Were hood pins available in 68? This is from MyMopar option codes.

Not sure but who knows, mine had them when I purchase it from the original owner and was told it was original to the car but I have no proof, when I restored the car the holes were in a perfectly good hood so I went back the way it was, lol, don't see anything on the fender tag to identify.

any chance you can measure out the position of your hood pins? Just want to check the spacing and centre is on the same spot.
