Hello everyone, my name is Al and I've been a mechanic for over 40 yrs. I've restored many a GM car, but this is only my 2nd Mopar. Recently, my good friend and brother-in-law Tom passed away from Pancreatic Cancer. He so wanted to finish the restoration his 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner but it was not to be. I have decided to finish the car for his wife as she would love to see it done. The car is a 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner HT in Seafoam Turquoise Metallic, white bench seat 4-speed. I live in Arizona so the heat is something you learn to work around ( it is regularly over 100* F in my garage )

Thanks guys, I am starting little by little getting organized and finding what I have to work with.The car is back from body and paint and I've been working on window trim,drip rail molding and weatherstrips.Got the windshield rubber and molding clips installed ,but I want a proffesional to install the windshield..lol. Can't decide whether to use ureathane or butyl tape for the rear window. I had a bad experiance with the butyl on a 72 Baracuda. I will post pics as soon as I figure out how. Also found "Big John"s" post on emblem placement with diagrams , but when I try to enlarge the thunbnails, it says ERROR- not permitted accesss. The body guy did Tom a "Favor" by welding up all emblem holes....( D'oh)

Well Roadtrip I bought the seal from parts mix for the back window. But decided to use urethane 3m also around the outer edge of the window under the trim. The gap between the window and the outer edge of the window gap will liberally apply the urethane. Their is a window install on a roadrunner on U Tube. They used a lot of the Urethane on the front windshield also when window is in the gasket squirt the urethane in the window seal it's self. Good luck. Russ.
