I was at the Music City MOPAR show today and saw a beautiful '70 383 RR that is a Tan metalic I guess, it has 17" Rally Wheels and was from Athens, Al. Does anyone know who this is? He has a real nice setup on a radiator catch bottle that sits between the battery and the core support. This may be standard on a '70, I don't know but I do know it's not on a '68 but I would like to add it to mine. If anyone knows who owns this car so I can contact them or have them contact me would be great. It was parked inside a pavilian next to a real nice '69 RR.

Thanks,
DC

That's the car. Super slick and in a color you don't see much. LOL, I didn't get any pics of the car but I did get one of the over flow bottle. In the back by the fence there was a '69 Bee that had an after market stereo that looked like stock with the roller knobs. I think this one was a RetroSound unit and I wanted to know how it sounded.

I have a Retrosound in my car and I'm not all that inpressed. The radio doesn't fit the bezel openings very well, there's a lot of open space around them, and the dials aren't full circles, The are like a rocker switch so you have to push it multiple times to adjust the volume or stations. Also the sound occasionally goes silent for either a short or long period of time. All connections are tight and the dial face stays lighted when the sound is out. I would not recommend.

yes same issues with an 8 year old retro sound that hardly ever has been used. If I want to hear it volume may or may not adjust.

Thanks guys, that's why I ask. Had I not seen one in a car yesterday I would not have thought to ask about it. I've seen one of those stock radios converted with the module, it sounded pretty good but you do have to remember all the controls in order to use it, since it is in your original radio it fits well and looks stock. I've not talked to anyone that has one installed though, the one I saw was a radio/tv guy at a car show offering to install them in your radio and he had a demo setup. His demo sounded good.
