Tire sizes

Just picked up some new magnum 500’s for the RR. 15x7 for the front and 15x8 for the rear. If anyone is running a similar setup what size tires are you running? What would be the absolute widest tire I could go with on the rear?

Not sure on the back space,, I have 15 x 8 Cragar S/S with 275/60-15 Radial T/A , no issues,

It is hard to squeeze much more in the back fender's not like GM that are wider at the top than Plymouth with out mini tubing them.

295/50/15 on several sets of 15"x8" wheels that I have. Cragars, Rallyes, Magnums and steelies.

I believe the Charger has a bit larger wheel well than a gen 1 runner

They still fit on my Runner also. Just don't pictures of it with any of the wheel and tire combo's on it.

So 295/50/15 will fit on 68 runner with no issue with 15x8 rim with 4.5 backspace
Trying to decide between 275/60/15 vs. 295/50/15

Yes, I just run 295's because I don't like the jacked up look. The 70's are over.... lol.

That's a big tire !! Over 31" tall and at least 11" wide, that should change the stance of a vehicle

235/60/15 for the front and 275/60/15 on the rear with the stance set as basically stock look really nice. Here is my 69 Road Runner with those size tires on 15 inch black Craggars. The tires are Diamond Back custom made using BFG's They are pricy, but the only way to get this size redline's.
