Here's a great story for some of our newer members. We old-timers have kicked this one around a few times, but I'm guessing many of you have never heard or read the story of how the Road Runner came to be...so here is an interesting read... Enjoy. :cheers:

I have read that before. In fact, I have it stored in my computer. Not only interesting, but amazing that the bird ever made it to production with all the obstacles that had to be overcome. Sure glad Jack persisted.

Thanks for posting that again Ray, it's always good reading it. I'm glad they didn't go with "La Mancha" for the name. It just doesn't sound right for a car name. It makes me think of that silly movie "Man of La Mancha" that they made.
