Not trying to inflame the situation but I prefer this look personally. To each his own.[attachment=0:1yv60ff0]RR.jpg[/attachment:1yv60ff0]

Yeah... that is no doubt the best look. In fact, that's what I got!

Just if you need to go to a modern size for racing or because you want the modern big brakes...17s don't ruin the look IMO.

I see where you're at Mannye. I personally can't stand the big wheel look but to each his own and thats what makes the world go round. It's your car and if you want to slap some big brakes and 17s on your Runner and go do some laps well god bless ya. Thats what they were made for after all. :drive:

I see where you're going with this, but it's still not my cup of tea... Personally, I'll just pass on 13" brakes if it means I have to go with rims that look like they belong on a Lexus or some other over-priced, foreign-made tonka toy... :cents:

:jester:
Have to agree with Ray on this, but at the end of the day if you like 'em, that's all that counts.

Hey guys
Like I said in the begining, I'm a stock kind of guy, but we "Kids" have been modifiying our rides since day one
Swaping 383 for a 318 , Cragars, American Racers, Baby Moons for factory steels, headers for manifolds, electronic ignition for points and condenser, four speeds for auto's, slicks for red lines, red for bronze, even the fuel some use, etc.
All though some of the modifications were not to my liking, some did look OK on certain cars
So, you see, we weren't any different then the "Kids" today
Heck, I'm still a "Kid", but don't tell my wife, she thinks I'm all grown up.

Fran, I had no idea that you were really a "Tuner" masquerading as a old MoPar Hot-Rodder... :basketcase:

Ray, It just goes to show you that you never know what goes on behind closed garage doors
Besides, the only "Tuning" I do is to keep adjusting the radio in the Mystery Car to keep it tuned to one station
And, for your information, I'm not masquerading as an old MoPar Hot-Rodder, I am one :lmao: :lmao:
