Here is pic's of it painted and ready to put it back together. Just waiting on the Knuckle parts to come in then can finish putting it back together. Hope I can remember how it went. LOL. Have a new turn signal arm.

Got mine from year one along with the new turn signal and canceling switch. Thanks. Did not believe that they got it too me PDQ. She told me they had one left in stock. So figured better get it.

So here is the finished product. Ready to install in the car. Rebuilt the steering knuckle. Notice the red rubber. Swapped the steering wheel for this one mine was all cracked up. new lower bearing. Also new turn signal switch. Could not use the metal piece that went to the turn signal handle then to the switch. The had a plastic piece for replacement. Tried to get it out but did not want to force it and brake the new switch.

Going to paint the horn pad when the paint comes in have to do the lower dash pad also.

If you guy's notice the plug for AMD with the hood in the box and the year one box on the bench. LOL.

No word on the horn button yet . I did notice the plug, good stuff !
That really came out sharp. I did not rebuild the knuckle. I think mine is ok. What is in the glass that is half full!!!!! LOL Big Mo.
I use it all the time #0000.

Coke Cola. In the morning drink Coffee till about noon. Then switch to soft drink. Then late in the after noon might have a beer but not always. LOL.

Hope you guy's are using stainless steel wool pad's. I have learned the steel wool is not a good thing to use it can transfer micro particles that will rust. Even have switched to stainless steel wire bushes. Some thing I picked up on from my friend Pete.
Russ you said you rebuilt the knuckle. I looked in my parts manual to see what is in there. What all did you replace or repair. Also the bearing at the bottom of the shaft is smooth when I turn it. Big Mo.

New pin- shoes- and the top rubber seal with holding bracket. Put new grease in it. Around the end where the bearing is the guy on U tube put a strip of peal and stick foam for a bottom seal. Just to keep dirt and such out of the bearing.
