steering column attached to firewall

Need some help again, lol, the main plate for the steering column that attaches to the firewall, does that plate have bushing or something to fill the gap in the large holes? Can someone pop a photo for me on how the plate attached to the firewall, thanks.

you could check in the tech section here, the FSM for '69 is there, but IIRC there is just a foam gasket and the plate has three bolts to the firewall.

There are two plates, the big one attaches to firewall and needs a foam gasket, I think 4 bolts, the second plate attaches to the first plate and also has a gasket and seals column to first plate

Hey Armyinspector how close are you to getting her done. We need up dates on some pic's. I am still working on the body of mine slow process. But not paying any one else so can take my time. Yep just wanted to know. :thumbsup:
