does anyone know what the two wires at the bottom of the steering colomn are for, they are violet and have a weird plug, it is pretty close to the floor on the top side of the colomn, there is some type of switch there!
If you have 1968 automatic column shift steering column, you may have the wiring and plug for the reverse light switch. Wires are violet and white in colour, and are part of the dash harness.
