split bench

I have the split bench in my runner.My problem is that the passengers side top of seat does not hold its position .Lay back more than the other front.looks like a metal bracket of some kind is broke.just wondering if anybody has had this problem.I need to know if there is a new bracket that i can get or weld er up!!! Thanks

Re-posting to this to re-open the discussion. The split bench seat in my Runner is playing the same game. Both the driver and passenger side lean way back. I know that something in the seat is broken because you can easily lift either side up 2-3” in the center.

Has anyone had to repair this?

I had the same problem on my seat. On mine there is a bracket in the middle that broke. Since I switched to a set of buckets from the junk yard I have of course not gotten around to fix it yet. It is on the list.
