That would make your Road Runner a “Hell Runner” after that transplant. If anything happened to my engine, I’d look at replacing it with one if the new 392 crate engines.

Yea RAINMANYEH sound's like a plan. Just wonder what it would take to do the swap with the A833 transmission. Hope this 383 in this car will out last me. Russ.

After I got my RR something just didn’t seem right with the engine, so pulled it and took it to a local shop. They guy just so happened to be the old school Mopar guru around here. Glad I went with my gut as the rear two pistons were cracked. The engine wasn't damaged bad so bored it 0.40 over and put in a mild cam. She runs good now, just finicky when cold.
