This is embarrassing Steve. I am just to the point where I have to gas up again for winter. It will be the first time hitting the pumps all summer so, maybe a 100 miles or so. But hey, no water spots or bird poop. I give you credit for driving these great cars as much as you do. When I die, I want my car trailered to the funeral (enclosed of course). Seriously, I do have to drive it more. Otherwise what is the point of all the work and owning it. :yesnod:

Put a 4 gear in it you will drive it more. :acme:

I havent done any long trips but I do drive them once a week or so.

With a 1 year old, pregnant wife, working ot, new house, and the auction car there was not much time to cruise. So I drive em to work down PCH 12 miles.

that's what I do. with working 21 turn, there's not much fun driving time.

Does pushing in and out of the garage count!! I'm still working on mine and trying to finish the restore. I am biting at the bit to get the runner on the road.

Not as many as I would like; the old 18-spline needs to be rebuilt and I have purposely reduced the amount of driving so as to not damage anything beyond repair...

I was gonna wait until I pulled it apart for paint...which I expected to be this past spring...so I may change my thoughts on this as the schedule has slid to the right since I've been pretending to be Steve McQueen in my new Blue Oval....:leave:

Looking at your avatar pic I see a hairline crack running the entire length of that hood... :basketcase:

I haven't put on as many miles as I would have since I bought the Scamp. Although, I still do manage the time to take her out for a 20 mile little run. :beep:

I was in Seattle when I posted that...

August was brutal...I logged 29,985 FLIGHT miles (60,817 frequent flier miles) last month...
8/1 - 8/3: Seattle
8/4 - 8-7: New Orleans
8/15 - 8/16: Montreal
8/18 - 8/21: Las Vegas
8/22 - 8/24: Salt Lake City
8/26 - 8/27: Honolulu
8/28 - 8/30: SoCal

September hasn't been terrible; a week in SoCal and a week in Seattle. Hoping to stay put between Thanksgiving and New year's...we'll see... :D

One of those was driving a mustang around a track :toetap:

True...but it was still time spent not at home. Sometimes you just want to sit in your own chair to watch the boob tube or sleep in your own bed... :cents:
