I just bought my dream...now it's time to go to work. I'm not going to do anything major, just wheels and motor. I have wanted this car since I was 19 and I'm now 42.. Long wait but entirely worth it. I hope to get from this site the knowledge gained by other roadrunner lovers. I have found trial and error usually gets expensive..

1969 roadrunner...bare bones stock with no mods whatsoever....I reviwed some of the other threads and found that 275/60/15 is a good match. I will have my kids in back, so I never want it to rub... I've also seen that a bunch of y'all run 8" with 4.5 backspace...should I ask for pics of this set up?

Welcome. And we are going to ask for pictures also. I have 275/45/17 on the rear of mine and no where near a rub.

welcome!!! I run 17 x 8's on the front and 17 x 9's on the rear ( only because they don't make a wider wheel on my pattern )

Welcome! The dream never dies... and it is great to see you have found one of the sweetest cars to roll out of Detroit.
