Has anyone ever seen an aluminum slot wheel (except on google images) with six slots before. This vintage picture showed up on the innerweb today and it peaked my interest. Always been a fan of the “stoner mags” as they were called back in the day. Just never have seen any with 6 slots.

That was a production by American Racing wheel's. All Aluminum. Has any one ever seen a Cragar rim with the spokes ripped from the rim. I saw this at a drag race years ago. Good shot of those rims they just don't make things like this any more. Had a set of ET mag's that where slotted on my charger.

what are these midnights you speak of? Forced early retirement/unemployment has had a few drawbacks, but not having to work a midnight in almost a year after 20 years of 21 turn ISN"T one of them.

(not thinking about this particular thread, Harold - just to be clear...)

Oh hell no, not on Goldie. I always liked slots on 68-69 Road Runners. Maybe on the a12 clone. Plain black wheels are just about the only thing I don’t like about the a12’s.
I always loved the black wheel/chrome lugnut look. Always amazes me how everybody has a different idea of what looks cool.

I have an A12 and I think that they look fantastic...as long as they're screwed to the garage wall with an air hose rolled up on them... :D:D:D
