Bet you guy's thought I was talking about my wife with a topic title like that.  Nope, I took the car to the paint shop at 9am this morning to have the hood stripes re-done. Had a good chat with the painter so they will be right this time. Gave him a blueprint too.

You guys didn't know my ex... As soon as I kicked her to the curb, I had money I never knew I had!

Come to find out, they built a wing on the Indian casino that should have my name on it.

the plant super when I started was six months from retirement. he got a phone call at work one day from a credit card company about a past due balance. he had gotten his wife a card for groceries, etc. during the call he found out she had maxed out the card, then got snother card to pay the first, maxed that one out, then got another card....she was up to 7 cards when he got the call. I guess you could here him screaming over the noise in the plant. he had to work an extra two years......

Good luck on the stripes!

Picked the car up Wednesday morning from the paint shop. Stripes look great. They also fixed a tiny spot where something come from the spray gun when they were spraying the clearcoat the first time on the side of the left fender and they re-clear coated the whole front end of the car for free. Paint has a lifetime warranty and they said if anything happens just bring it back. Soon as I can get a pic I'll post it.

AZ Desert,
Ken I would have used the flat paint but still the car looks great! Just my preference but as far as easy of upkeep you got it right.

Well, I did think of that but since all I needed painted was the top's of the fender's I didn't want to mess with the rest of it and ease of clean up and waxing sure is nice. :yesnod: I had a flat hood one time and it was a bugger to keep that thing looking good. However I do like the flat stripes too.
