ya Ma Mopar, in their infinate wisdome put the hood hinges on, then painted, leaving bare metal. the swiss cheeses on the frame, check inside the frame, bet you have a mouse nest. I've seen that alot, the nest gets wet, and rust starts. don't think they painted inside the frame either.
