Well, i was turkey hunting for about a week then went to Gettysburg for a few days then to North Carolina to do some geneology research....just to let you know how backwoods I am, my family is from Mt. Airy NC. aka Mayberry....LOL :lmao: Then I started designing a conveyor system for a customer. That has been taking up a lot of my time. I did miss you guys though. I sure am glad to see JJ back.

Bob, the wiring harness retainers on the firewall were covered in a plastic insulating wrap from the factory. Did you need to "re-cover" yours or was the insulating wrap still OK. I need to address one of mine that has no wrap on it and was thinking about shrinktube. I really don't want to use electrical tape. Any comments or ideas?

John mine were ok, but what I did on my valve covers after they were powdercoated was to recoat with insulating dip, which can be brushed on but I was able to dip the tabs. I just picked up my chrome and it looks great

Congrats on the chrome. Thats another aftermarket crap shoot. Glad to hear you found a good one the first time around. I've used the dip before on small parts that I was able to hang up and let it dry then recoat several times. May give it a try. Thanks.

Here is a shot of the rear, the car is a little difficult to move around without steering so no front shot yet. I got up early and shot the dash before it got to hot. Its going to be the 14th day in a row of 100 plus degree days which ties a May record. Has it quit snowing up there yet :leave:

If you tell anyone I said this, I'll deny it, but that thing is gonna be sweet.
