I must have missed something. Why?
Well long story short. Had to fine another shop. the last paint job(black on hood) had a lot of what they call fish eyes. Said he could not redo until next spring and thought that I should live with it and might come out worst. Not good enough for me. so I did some looking and found a Restoration shop about 50 miles from me. took the RR to show them and they said they could do it with guarantee for their work.

Boy that is a hell of a note for that shop to say that. It was their work so they should have fixed it. But feel you pain on it. Hope the new shop will get the results your looking for.

Totally unacceptable specially from one who claims to have been in the biz for 40+ years. Maybe that's the kind of work they're used to throwing out there, I wouldn't be surprised.

Heck I can throw down paint in my garage without getting fish eyes, that's just contaminants either in the lines or on the panel surface.
