I am going to use the wiper arms from a 68 Satellite and I don't want to break them. What's the best way to get them off?

Yea.. I know... It's gonna kill a $20 bill and you already have a screwdriver. I bought one of these at Carlisle a few years ago at the big tool trailer (Always stop at the guys with the tool trailer) for less than $10.
I haven't scratched the paint on a cowl since.
Me too! Never regretted having the right tool for the job.I have had one of those K D tools for years,well worth the money !
