I have power steering that when I got the car the steering gear box and pump where leaking (along with everything else that could possible leak) so I rebuilt the box and found a new/rebuilt? pump.
When I start the car, the front wheels turn to the right. Even when the car is on the ground.
They turn back easy enough and don't seem to turn while idling or giving it the gas, Gremlins?
Still working on the car and have'nt had it on the road yet, getting close.

Put the front of the car in the air on jack stands. With the engine off loosen the two bolts on top of the box that the return hose goes into just enough to tap it forward and backward you don't want the O-rings to get away by loosening too much. That is the control valve. It will slide by tapping on it forward and backward to adjust the center. Tighten the bolts center the wheel and fire the motor for a moment. Repeat this until the wheels stay straight

I'm amazed at the knowledge that comes from this forum, and in a very respectable tone.
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll give it a try and get back to you.

and some of the members actually know what they're talking about instead of just blowing smoke outta their ass.

69 HImibeep, at first you had me scratching my head. Looked at your advice again this morning, tried it, first time the wheels turned the other way, third time was a charm.
Some weird stuff goes on with this/these cars, I don't know if I ever would have figured this one out.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
