Hey everyone, I've been researching the factory original wheel dressing options available for 1969 383 equipped Road Runners. Or if they came with 14" Road Wheels? When comparing the 1969 parts catalog, the sales brochure, and the salesmen pocket guide, it leaves me to wonder the actual reality of what these cars shipped with originally. So if you're one who is lucky enough to still have your broadcast sheet, would you please post up what appears on on it? Better yet, a scanned copy?

Looks like we'll be looking for codes: W11, W15, W21, and W25

Thanks!

I have yet to find a build sheet, but got these with the car when I bought it, (it came with Cragars mounted). I believe they are OEM.

Try it now.

P.S.
Those wheels are with the SS diameter trim for lack of the proper word.

I believe I do. Got a bag full with them so I assume they are the originals.

These codes never seem to compute with what I find on the internet.
So I'm lost.
The car came with 14 inch Magnum 500s, right?

I don't have a broadcast sheet, but when I pulled the drums off to sandblast, all 4 had traces of sloppy red paint! This led me to believe my '69 came with Magnums originally.

See, that is "Greek" to me.
These number don't compute.
Am I looking at the wrong thing?
How does that translate to this?

The car was very original and unmolested.
That's why it came to my house on a flatbed.
I mean I know people can change things but the wheels were like they had rarely been off the car.

It "only" had 29K on it.
The point being that IF the Magnums are not what was on the sheet, (I say IF) I would wager good money that the sheet did not match the car.

Stuck windows. Had to take off the door panels to get them down.

For a broadcast sheet, that is in really good shape!!

The seats are original. The build sheet was under the rear.
The one under the carpet was rubbish.
VINS are good. Fender tag intact.
And of special interest, there was a partial broadcast sheet from what appears to have been a special order car under the front seat.

Dealers would swap wheels between cars on the lot at customers request to sell a car.
16 = stamped steel 14/5.5"
X9 = black paint
58 = deluxe wheel cover

What color would Chrysler paint the drums behind the above coding?
If if was white the coding makes more sense to me.
I mean, who would paint drums white behind a Magnum 500?
Well, I wouldn't. I can't say what Chrysler would do.

And apparently the assembly line just grabbed the first black bench seat they saw too that day.

AZ Desert,
If the factory painted the drums it would be red for road wheels. The drums would be left natural soon to be rusty for the wheels on your broadcast sheet

The bottom of row on the sheet under section w has 115 under the W section. This is where I looked
