Performance hood paint

I used satin urethene on the hood of my '75 RR. It is very forgiving when I get to close to the edge with wax, and it has the flat appearance that I like. I am sold on it. I think it is the best of both worlds.

My car is Q5 turquoise. You know... blue/green...

Are those 15 inch 500 wheels you have on your green ride? I had the poverty look going but that is one sexy side view!!

They borrowed the color on mine from Chevy.

Best thing I've found for cleaning the hood or hood stripes are a good horse hair shoe brush and Armor All cleaner and then finish it with Pledge or Armor All low gloss protectant....

Yup - Magnum 500's all around. 15x7 up front and 15x8 out back. The Magnum is my favorite wheel on the 68-69 runners but I like the Rallye just a bit more on the 70's.

Where can I get some 500's that will fit the drum brakes? I had the poverty look going with the steel wheels and hubcaps but have the M31 trim package.

Do these work http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WVI-54-5812042/ or do they require back spacers etc?

By the way anybody do the satin with a flattened clear over the stripes?
