Some one removed pentastar and filled in with putty and painted. Anyone in roadrunner land know the proper way to install ? Several bolts on bottom of fender, which I can remove, but is this the correct way ? Inner panel ?
Thanks

I haven't done one in a few years...so maybe someone with a fresher memory can chime in... Seems like I just used a barrel clip and pushed it in - as far as your installation question goes. The large post holds it on and the small one just keeps it from rotating IIRC.

Bigger question will be if there is some bondo or putty sticking throught the holes on the backside of the fender so you can just reopen them instead of having to drill. Taking the bottom bolts out of the fender and taking the fender loose from the splash shield should gain you ample clearance to get in there and investigate.

acme A 12 I appreciate your response. I found there to be putty build up, but now I should be able to get to the back side and trim flush, then drill. I can see what I am up against when I open the door.
Thank You for your help, you have answered my question.

Did the same with mine but the filler seems to be behind the inner fender structure .
