I want to do a resto 'light' on the RR. Just repair some dents and scratches and a new fresh paint coat.
The car originally came as A4 Silver with black interior and black top. I will add a YearOne 6 pack hood.
It wil be like this:

I am leaning towards a bright color (always loved the B5 blue)

or a more 'sofisticated' color like Charcoal Grey (or the '67 Ford GT500 Pepper Grey)

What are your thoughts?
I am not a 'it-needs-to-be-factory-correct' kinda guy. And besides that, it won't be a $10.000 paint job.

Dad bought a new '71 Dodge pickup, and had it ordered from the factory a '71 Dodge Polara charcoal grey metallic. Beautiful color. And there are enough factory correct cars, make yours the way you want it.

Me personaly like the B5 blue and with a black interior that would be badass with a 6 barrel hood. I am changing mine back to T5 Bronze Fire Metallic and since my interior had already been changed to black just kept the theme, I also got a 6 bbl hood. Up to you but Blue and black is a good combo. even if you choose not to do the vinyl top.

Love the charcoal - and it is a lot less prevalent than the B5. I just think the charcoal would be a lot more distinctive.

My paint shop uses the Dupont (new name is Cromax) paint brand so does somebody know the formula for A4 Platinum Silver?
Thanks, Christian

Great Posts! I would not be holding up my end of the deal if I did not throw out F-3 Green! On a cloudy day, pictures make it look gray/silver. 1 car, 2 colors! Color
Blindness is no fun!
